Simon Valverde is a junior partner at Castro & Pal Abogados. Mr. Valverde has a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property, Commerce and Technology Law from Franklin Pierce Law Center. He also underwent special post-graduate studies in Notary Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica. He is the coordinator of the Intellectual Property Department at the Firm. Additionally, he served as of counsel of the Vice Dean’s Office of Investigation of the University of Costa Rica and the Management Unit for Knowledge Transfer for Innovation (PROINNOVA) of the University of Costa Rica, in the subject of intellectual property and technology transfer.
